Calendula Officinalis, commonly known as Marigold, is a flowering plant native to France. The precise origin of the plant is difficult to trace due to its widespread cultivation. The vibrant flowers are edible and are often used to enhance the color of recipes and salads. Calendula oil is produced by infusing the flowers in a carrier oil and is known for its versatility.
